It's already on sale the tribute recording to Skatalà "Embolingats". Bands like Dr. Calypso, Soweto, Root Diamoons and The Cabrians, till a total of 18 groups have recorded this versions compilation of one of the pioneers ska formations in our country.

The recording goes with the 25th Skatalà years tour, in which we'll participate next Monday 10th of May in Camps Elisis of Lleida. Where we'll present the incorporation of two new band components: Ignasi Cuadras on keyboard and Martí Lázaro on drums. 

This actuation will represent, also, the beginning of a series of concerts which will bring us, among other things, to play with New York Ska-Jazz Ensemble in part of their Spanish tour.

Root Diamoons has the honour of being one of the bands nominated as best rocksteady band in the 5th edition of the Premios Internacionales de la Música y la Creación Independiente which are celebrated in Cáceres at the end of September.

And a little bit further, the Portuguese radio program Zona Reggae has nominate our "With other eyes" as the best recording for this 2009 in the category of Reggae / Ska contemporary together with others like "Get back up!" of David Hillyard & The Rocksteady 7.

After a year of concerts with our first recording, we start the new season with renewed repertory, new performances and cooking what will be the second Root Diamoons' long playing planned for the next year.

So we need to incorporate a pianist with good hand in all that black and white stuff and who wants to sweat Jamaican music on the stage.

After the success in Madrid's FestiMAD where we took the 3rd price of "Fusión", and postponing last week concert in Cerdanyola till September, we play at home again.

On Saturday we'll be in Clot with "The Thorpedians" to celebrate the spring.

For rain forecast all the Festa de la Solidaritat stage's activities have been cancelled, also our concert. So for the city people, let's see on May 29th in Boca Nord.
